Brilliant ruby red in the glass, it opens with intense aromas of ripe cherry and sour cherry layered beneath warming spice and subtle savoury notes. The palate is velvety, full-bodied and softly tannic, with a fresh lift that keeps the wine balanced and highly drinkable. A natural match for hearty dishes, cured meats and aged cheeses, this is classic Puglian Primitivo with depth, warmth and character.

Te Kahu means 'the cloak' in te reo Maori and refers to the mist that envelops Giants Winery in the Tukituki Valley. Legend has it that this mist was used to protect a mythical Maori maiden from the sun as she visited her lover Te Mata. This is a wine of richness and an abundance of black fruit flavours and a long structured finish. Deepest crimson red. Brooding aromatically with notes of cassis, black olive and dried tobacco enveloping a dense core of blue fruits. The wine has a lovely focus on the palate with dark fruits framed by fine tannins to deliver a classical structure with an excellent future ahead.

Handpicked from the higher terrace of the vineyard and fermented with indigenous yeast producing a wine with a silky layered texture providing interest and complexity. Burgundy in colour with a light crimson hue. Dried lavender and garigue, distinctly Te Muna perfume on the nose. An elegant palate with a warm core of brambled wild berries, porcini mushroom and red cherry in balance with the silk-laden tannins, which perfectly frame the wine. This is a smooth and fruit orientated Gimblett Gravels blend. Deep purple in colour, it has a bouquet of dried herbs, red berries and subtle hints of cedar from a period of barrel maturation.

Aromas of plum, dark berry fruit, vanilla, mocha, and warm toasted oak notes on the nose lead to berry and plum fruit flavours. Juicy in style with smooth tannins.

Dark red fruits on the nose are followed by rich flavours of black cherry, blackberry, chocolate with a hint of spice. Silky smooth velvety tannins are accompanied by a hint of oak in the background.
