The grapes were harvested from a steep, north-facing hillside vineyard in Havelock North limestone country. The bouquet expresses the essence of Hawke's Bay Syrah; masses of black fruit, a touch of pepper, intriguing floral notes, some meatiness and lovely savoury oak.
