Early wines were sourced from a neighbouring vineyard which ran adjacent to a small Bethany Church. This release of a single variety Church Block highlights Shiraz, which has been a part of every Church Block since 1972.

Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label Shiraz is a benchmark example of cool-climate Australian Shiraz, known for its elegant style. The 2019 has pristine berry fruits dominating the nose. Initially, the reds fruits are apparent - cranberries and redcurrants but then there is darker fruit more blackcurrant. A classic medium-bodied Shiraz palate, crunchy dark berries with black pepper and some sweeter cinnamon notes. The 2019 has a lovely texture - fine tannin with lively acidity.
