The Winemaker range showcases elements other than pure fruit, crafted with texture, complexity and ageworthiness in mind. These wines of tiny production are made from low-cropping single vineyards with a focus on organic viticulture and are vinified using traditional methods. The Farm is Simon Waghorn's own vineyard, situated in Grovetown, in the lower Wairau Valley. Nowadays, Riesling is not so widely planted in Marlborough, but it is perhaps one of the varieties best suited to Marlborough's cool climate. The palate is light and fresh while full-flavoured. There is crisp refreshing acidity that leads to a long delicate finish. Perfect as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to Mediterranean cuisine such as salads and seafood, especially shellfish.

This is a highly-textured wine with flinty characters that marry beautifully with strong stone fruit and citrus notes and a toasty and mealy complexity. The luxurious palate is rich, soft and full with a peaches, cream and nutty-like quality and full textural finish.

Camshorn Pinot Gris has hints of apricot and honeysuckle on the nose, leading to a rich, textural palate. The wine is medium-bodied, with ripe nectarines-and-cream stonefruit balanced by citrus. Enjoy this wine solo or pair with simply roasted chicken or seared firm fish. A meal with warm spice hints will also match well, such as a stir fry with ginger or 5-spice. Crumbly and tangy cheeses will be fantastic, with some sliced pear and walnuts alongside.

The prime objective of Cecilia Beretta estate is to recapture the force and personality of the traditional wines of the Valpolicella and Soave areas, which are the precious products of zones with distinctive - and indeed unique - histories and wine cultures. This Soave is obtained only from vineyards of Brognoligo at the heart of Soave Classica.
