Bannockburn in Central Otago is renowned for its ability to produce small quantities of premium wines. Domain Road's Defiance Vineyard, on Felton Road, is tucked into a sheltered valley where miners once hunted for gold. This Pinot Gris is the colour of pale lemon straw, with clear hues. Aromas of toffee apple, lemon curd, pear, white melon with a hint of citrus blossom are detected on the nose. This is followed by a lush, full entry of pineapple, nashi pear, ginger and lemon sherbet. Excellent balance, with layers of complexity leading to a hint of sweetness in the finish.

This is classic Chablis at its best - 4th generation winemaker the Race family use virtually no oak (and none at all in the standard cuvée) creating a lean, linear, focused wine that evokes crushed shells, crunchy apple and soft aromatic florals. Match with grilled or poached fish, exotic dishes, sushi and goat's cheeses.

Deep crimson color, nose of violet and licorice, powerful palate with red fruit notes and spice, rounded with a velvety texture. To be enjoyed all year long with grilled meat, salads, risottos and spicy food.

This 10 Year Old Port is smooth, well balanced and mature and is ready for drinking now. Dow's 10 Years Old Tawny has a bright tawny colour. On the nose brimming with aromas of candied fruit and toffee, beautifully combined with some mature ripe fruit. On the palate vibrant nutty flavours, perfect balance and with a lovely long finish.

Light amber and tawny colour, showing mature raisiny fruit aromas with hints of honey and caramel. Dow's Twenty Years Old Tawny has a rich and nutty palate, with wonderful balance. A clean crisp finish and a soft lingering aftertaste.

Dow's Fine White ages mainly in wood, gaining a rich golden colour and an intense rich nutty aromatic complexity. A certain amount of wine is not wood-aged and is blended in to add freshness and fruit character. On the palate, balanced and smooth, with excellent acidity and a long finish.

Dow's Fine Ruby was aged in seasoned oak casks at our lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia for an average of 3 years, and bottled when ready to drink. Exuberant youthful fruit flavours make it perfect for informal drinking.

A superb Tawny from a leading Port house. Dow's Tawny is a very fine and delicate style, with pretty red fruits balanced by nutty depth derived from an average of three years aging in small oak casks. Owned by the historic and also very modern Symington family stable of Ports, the Dow's has both pedigree and sheer quality on its side.

Made from red slate estate vineyards found primarily in the south-facing stretch of river that encompasses the villages of Ürzig, Erden, Lösnich and Kinheim, this dry Riesling has an intense minerality that is warm and enveloping. It has floral, spicy, citrus blossom aromas and harmonious flavors with a full, expansive texture. Very expressive.

A captivating bouquet of white lilies, powdered sea salt, almond oil, green apple, and the vibrant freshness of pikopiko fern leaps from the glass, offering an intricate and alluring nose. On the palate, the wine unfolds with effortless grace, delivering a broad, savoury impression balanced by a delicate touch of residual sugar. Layers of citrus rind, nougat, and a subtle buttery richness from extended lees aging intertwine seamlessly. With its lighter alcohol and precise focus, the wine heightens the sensory experience, stimulating the taste receptors at the edges of the palate for a refreshing, cleansing effect. The finish is remarkably long and resonant.

This is a medium bodied and elegant Hawke's Bay Chardonnay. Its flavour profile is a mix of stonefruit, grilled nuts, grapefruit and yeasty nuances. It is both complex and delicious.

This is a smooth and fruit orientated Gimblett Gravels blend. Deep purple in colour, it has a bouquet of dried herbs, red berries and subtle hints of cedar from a period of barrel maturation.
