The Ned Chardonnay - A fruit driven Chardonnay with white nectarine and loquat aromas elevated by notes of vanilla, cinnamon and lightly toasted brioche. The palate is plush and creamy from the near full malolactic conversion, swathed in warm French oak spice with fine acid tension on the finish.

This richly textured unoaked Chardonnay displays aromas of ripe nectarine and bright citrus underpinned by hints of integrated nutty butterscotch gained from both extended time on lees and malolactic fermentation. On the palate fresh flavours of peach and tropical fruit are balanced with subtle creaminess and great length, leading to a smooth and focused finish.

This wine is fruit-driven in style, exhibiting ripe peach with underlying citrus blossom and fig characters. On the palate, these flavours are enhanced by a creamy texture and a delicate suggestion of oak. A medium bodied Chardonnay that is styled for enjoyment upon release with or without food.

In its youth, this concentrated wine is pale in the glass and displays aromas of white fleshed stone fruit, flowers, biscuit and hazelnut. Intricate barrel fermentation influences meld with stone fruit and acidity on the palate, forming a refined marriage of style and length.
