Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet is a reflection of the Penfolds winemaking style and philosophy. St Henri is a distinguished and time-honoured expression within the Penfolds collection. First released in the 1950s, it is an enduring counterpoint to Grange, a Shiraz matured in seasoned vats to allow fruit purity and structure to take centre stage. The 2022 is instantly recognisable as St Henri, a classic vintage that delivers in youth but promises to reward patience over the next two to three decades. Richly layered and fruit-forward, plush, and quietly powerful. The wine has a real presence, weighty yet buoyant. It has stature and confidence. There is a complex assortment of flavours vying for attention. Hazelnuts, macadamia, white chocolate, and Dutch liquorice are first noted. There is a lovely fruit saturation, reminiscent of Kir Royale cocktail, summer berry pudding, and melted chocolate. The tannins are ripe, fully integrated, and effortlessly anchor the fruit. A classic St Henri that delivers in the full flush of youth but promises so much more for those inclined to cellar this wine for a few decades.

This non-vintage Champagne Brut Rosé marks the fourth wine released in Penfolds collaboration series with Champagne House Thiénot. In 2019, Penfolds re-ignited their love affair with France, a special place for Penfolds, and announced their inaugural Champagne partnership with Thiénot. With Penfolds first Champagne Brut Rosé release, they celebrate the shared mutual style and quality ambitions between Thiénot chef de cave Nicholas Uriel and Penfolds Chief Winemaker Peter Gago. This Champagne is inviting, exotic. Balanced, with an overt freshness - crispness up-front, and a delicate dosage imprint on finish. Relaxed acidity, friendly effervescence. Subtle mandarin and raspberry fruits impact immediately - over a flavour base of strawberry with pepper / Turkish Delight with pistachio. Stylistically light on its feet and sprightly... its 'Champagne character' teasingly revealed upon sitting. Impatience? A second glass immediately beckons.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon parcels sourced from vineyards throughout the Barossa. The fruit is fermented for up to 14 days, then aged for 12 months in a mix of French and American oak. Individual parcels of fruit are matured separately to maximise the blend's complexity and finalised through a selection process. The resulting wine is rich and concentrated with aromas of ripe dark berry fruits, blackcurrants and plums with mint and varietal leafy notes. The palate is plush with flavours balanced by fine, textural tannins.

Winemaker Richard Mattner - a born-and-bred Barossa local - loves making Pepperjack wines as much as he loves drinking them, especially alongside a great steak. As he says: "Why would I need anything else?" Deep dark red with a vibrant purple rim, the nose bursts with rich aromas of blackberry, blueberry, dark chocolate, mocha, and spice. The palate is plush and layered, delivering concentrated dark fruits, fine tannins, and a soft, lingering finish. Pepperjack Shiraz is a true Barossa classic.

Pepperjack Shiraz Cabernet pours a rich, dark red with a deep purple rim. The nose offers an enthralling medley of raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries, layered with dark plums and a touch of black pepper. Beneath the surface lie brooding notes of dark chocolate and a hint of roasted meats. The palate is rich and structured, bursting with bright fruit flavours. Silky, plush tannins provide length and finesse, leading to a soft, full-flavoured finish.

Enticing aromatics of hazelnut, nutmeg, pear and white peach compliment an elegant and soft palate with fine texture and layers of grapefruit zest, ginger spice and Central Otago stonefruit. Peregrine's organic Pinot Gris is dry in style showing lovely ripe fruit and a subtle texture from a small portion of barrel fermentation. The cooler climate of Central Otago allows Peregrine to maintain a refreshing acidity and great length on the palate.
