Richmond Plains proudly produced New Zealand's first certified organic Blanc de Noir, crafting an elegant white wine from hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes. Gentle whole-bunch pressing preserves its delicate blush hue and vibrant aromas of citrus blossom, green pear and biscuit. The palate is crisp and plush, with baked apple, nectarine and tropical fruit, finishing with subtle white spice and a silky texture. RUA Pinot Noir has a rich and generous palate, with black cherry, raspberry and plum notes supported by vanilla and classic Central Otago dried herbs. A subtle spiciness adds to the complexity. The silky tannins are well integrated in this fresh and vibrant Central Otago Pinot Noir.

The bouquet is fragrant and bursting with fruit notes. It shows clean aromas of apples, pears, and citrus, accompanied by hints of wisteria. The emblem of the Ruinart taste, Chardonnay is the very soul of Ruinart. The grape, mainly harvested from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims terroirs, is at the heart of all our cuvées.
